The SEO Account Manager is responsible for overseeing the SEO strategy, Client Communication and Client retention of their accounts. They are responsible for the performance, strategy, growth, and alignment of each individual account he/she manages. The Account Manager ensures that client expectations for their business and their relationship with E2M are set appropriately and achieved. Your role is to build and maintain a strong client relationship, meet the goals and timelines of the original strategy, as well as identify new strategic opportunities. SEO account manager will be a bridge between Client and SEO Project manager.
Responsibilities
- Clearly communicate all initiatives, strategies, and opportunities to clients as needed and on a weekly/monthly basis.
- Organize and facilitate client meetings (weekly/bi-weekly calls and monthly reporting calls).
- Work with Project manager to identify and vet new opportunities for account expansion.
- Responsible for Account Growth + Retention
- Work with SEO project manager to ensure client work/deadlines are delivered on time.
- The ability to communicate well verbally and written (internally and externally)
Requirements/Skills
- Knowledge of standard and current SEO best practices for both Content and Onsite factors.
- Experience with SEO reporting
- Familiarity with tools such as Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Semrush, MOZ, etc.
- Familiarity with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console.
- Excellent communication skills
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- Excellent understanding in dealing with internal team and cross team
- 2-3 years of experience in a client facing role
