Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Shopify Headless Developer to join our team. As a Shopify Headless Developer, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining our e-commerce platform, leveraging Shopify's headless architecture. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, backend developers, and project managers to build exceptional e-commerce experiences for our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement custom front-end solutions using Shopify's headless architecture.
- Collaborate with the design team to translate wireframes and mockups into responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
- Work closely with backend developers to integrate front-end interfaces with Shopify APIs and services.
- Optimize website performance and ensure smooth user experience across devices and browsers.
- Debug and resolve issues related to front-end development, ensuring high-quality code and adherence to best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in Shopify development to suggest improvements and innovative solutions.
- Collaborate with project managers to estimate timelines, prioritize tasks, and deliver projects on schedule.
- Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance to ensure the stability and functionality of the developed features.
- Document technical specifications, code, and processes to facilitate knowledge sharing and maintain an organized development environment.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior developers, sharing best practices and promoting a collaborative work environment.
Requirements:
- Strong experience in front-end development using modern web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and React.
- Proven expertise in Shopify development, including building and customizing themes, working with liquid templates, and utilizing Shopify APIs.
- Hands-on experience with Shopify headless architecture and GraphQL.
- Proficient understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
- Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
- Solid understanding of web performance optimization techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issues.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented mindset and commitment to writing clean, well-documented code.
- Prior experience working in an Agile development environment is a plus.
